The Lead

I grew up on ‘The Price is Right’ in the 80s. Not only was watching the pricing games fun, but host Bob Barker, his “Beauties”, and announcer Rod Roddy made the show even more entertaining. Of course, it was an true eye-opener when I first watched Happy Gilmore with that fight scene on the golf course. I think outside of The Price is Right, Bob’s legacy is more as a long-time animal rights activist who reminded us to “help control the pet population by having your pet spayed or neutered.” Every once and awhile I catch myself watching old episodes of ‘The Price is Right’ on Pluto TV and I feel like a kid in the ‘80s again (on a sick day from school.)
